The purpose of this project is to train a PACT Social Work fellow. This will assist in maintaining the standard of care and help guarantee the best possible service for patients and families at Boston Children’s Hospital.
PediQUEST Champions for Spanish Speaking Families: Increasing minorities’ access to palliative careDescription of Major Goals
1. Spanish adaptation of PediQUEST web Survey: 7-9 months (2-months for face validity assessment of instruments, IRB approval of protocols, and researchers’ training, 4-6 months patient accrual, 1-month analysis and development of final survey versions); 2. Development of PediQUEST Web Spanish interface: 7-10 months (done concurrently with validation process) (6-8 months to translate/upload material and 1-2 months test); 3. Pilot test: (starts once 1 and 2 are complete): 6-8 months (expected enrollment rate: 1-3 patients per month).
